A blog draft

I have a blog draft about Solomon's temple here, wherein I share 1Ch 17:1–15 and show that Jesus, not Solomon, is the true fulfillment of the prophecy, which is intriguing because Jesus never built a literal temple. — Avatar.png 21:40, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Suggestion from Jonathan

In an e-mail on July 25, 2016:

I suggest adding the passages below to your Temple page. They show that even after Christ’s ascension (even in 62 AD when Acts was written, almost 30 years after Christ’s ascension), some form of Temple worship was a part (even a regular, sometimes daily part) of Christian worship, a place of revelation and of praise. For more info, you can see my Temples page.
  • Luke 24:52-53 [The saints] worshiped [the resurrected Christ] and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God
  • Acts 2:46 And [the saints], continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house (written 62 AD)
  • Acts 22:17 After Christ appeared to Paul in vision and after being commanded to be baptized, Paul went and "prayed in the temple", during which time he received another vision of Christ.
  • Acts 21:26 Then Paul took the men (believers) and the next day purifying himself with them, entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification
