I think it’s relevant that Joel 2:28 is cited as being fulfilled at Acts 2:17, but I need to think about this more and expand on it here. I also think Malachi 4:6 cited at Luke 1:16–17 is relevant. John’s ministry signals the beginning of the ingathering.
