Criticisms
- This is man-centered and man-glorifying. It cannot be God-centered or God-glorifying because, ostensibly, this principle did not originate from God, but God himself discovered and began utilizing this principle in eternity past. How does this not tend toward boasting or pride?
- It is entirely law. What of grace?
- What is so pernicious about this is that it co-opts faith and turns it from grace to law.
- It is the ultimate expression of free will, to the complete denial of God’s sovereignty.
